As a school we are currently heavily involved in a global challenge set by NAE for all schools to take part in. The students are focused on producing art work linked to the UNICEF global goals. This will lead to an amazing art exhibition where the art work will be auctioned for charity.
In addition, we are able to send up to two students to New York in July to the UN to represent the school. They will join 14 other students from across the South East Asia region and up to 70 other NAE students from across the world. This is a very exciting opportunity and another demonstration of the advantages of being in the NAE family of schools. I am delighted to announce that our two BVIS ambassadors for the trip will be; Phan Hoang Kieu Han 12I and Nguyen Khac Hai Linh 10B. There may be further opportunities for others to join them and we are waiting confirmation that this may be the case. We are delighted to be able to send them to America and know they will be fantastic ambassadors for our school.

I am also delighted to inform you that Ben in Year 10 recently sat some international advanced A level maths modules and his results were quite simply superb. In one unit he achieved a perfect score of 200/200 which is best in the world and in another unit he achieved 180/200 almost another perfect score. Huge congratulations to Ben, his family and the maths department for a remarkable achievement.
Finally, next week 22 of your students will be travelling to the NAE camp in Tanzania to work in the community, experience the country, witness some amazing landscape and variety of wild animals. We wish them well on what promises to be an experience of a lifetime.
I wish you all a very relaxing weekend.
