BIS-BVIS writing workshop

As a Nord Anglia Education and FOBISIA school, BVIS children have regular opportunities to collaborate, communicate or compete with children in other schools here in Vietnam, in south-east Asia and beyond. This is part of our mission for BVIS children to be global citizens with the skills to respect others, persevere in their learning with others, as well as engage in reflection and enquiry during their learning.

Global citizen - Vietnamese perspective

This week, some children in Years 1 – 6 who were the overall year group winners at BVIS for the recent FOBISIA short story competition joined with the year group winners from BIS for a day of writing.

The children, led by the schools’ literacy coordinators, collaborated in creating parts of a game called “Above and Below”. Their special day was both a celebration of the children’s excellent writing as well as a reward for their achievement as year group winners.

Congratulations to:

 Year 1: Bill, Nguyen Khai

Year 2: Jason, Quynh Anh

Year 3: Hyeok, Se-a

Year 4: Thuc Sam, Chip

Year 5: Minh Khoi, Gia Bao

Year 6:  Bao Phuc, Hai My

A big thank you to Ms Ha and Ms Rachael for hosting this event here at BVIS.
