On Friday the U11 FOBISIA Team are collecting their brand new sports kit in preparation for packing for the U11 Primary FOBISIA Games in Phuket. The team have been training for over 10 weeks now and their efforts in the 4 sports have been exceptional.  They’ve demonstrated great commitment and attitude, improving in not only fitness but their knowledge and understanding too. The 3 day competition will see them challenge 4 other international schools from South East Asia in the following sports: athletics, swimming, T-ball and football. They are very excited about the FOBISIA Games and cannot wait to get started.

We know that this competition will not only give the students a fantastic sporting experience, but it will also enrich their lives in so many other ways, such as: making new friends from around the world; developing resilience; improving both physical and mental toughness; empathy for others through winning and losing; leadership and teamwork skills and, most of all, the sense of belonging with such a varied group of people all in it for one reason - the enjoyment of sport and competition.

We wish the students and coaches the best of luck - go get them BVIS! Follow their progress from Wednesday 31st May to Sunday 4th June with daily updates on the BVIS Facebook page.
