I had the pleasure of visiting two amazing schools in Singapore this week as part of my FOBISIA Executive work. This included a visit to Dover Court one of our sister schools. I was able to collect a great deal of information and ideas that will be of benefit to our school and in particular to our children.
I would also like to share with you a very nice welcome back and good luck message from our CEO Andrew Fitzmaurice that he has put together for you. Please click on the link below to see the message.
Andrew Fitzmaurice Welcome Back
I am also delighted to announce that this year BVIS will be entering into a very exciting collaboration with MIT in America. This is a global collaboration partnership with all NAE schools worldwide. The mission of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology is to advance knowledge and educate students in science, technology, and other areas of scholarship that will best serve the nation and the world in the 21st century. We are also driven to bring knowledge to bear on the world’s great challenges. MIT is widely considered one of the top universities in the world.
This is a hugely exciting initiative and alongside the collaborations already in place with Juilliard and with UNICEF, this means we are now working very closely with some of the top educational institutes in the world for the benefit of our students and school community. I will send you further updates and more details once the collaboration is fully up and running.
Finally, Sunday we will yet again be participating in the BBGV Charity Run in District 7. Thank you to all those who have signed up and I look forward to seeing you there on Sunday morning, it promises to be another great event.
I hope you all have a relaxing weekend.
