On Wednesday BVIS hosted the annual Primary Saigon Maths competition. Many groups of students from the some of the top international schools came to compete in this every popular competition. We entered two teams in the competition and whilst they did not win, they performed exceptionally well against outstanding competition. They were an absolute credit to our school. They prepared well and worked hard to perform at the top of their game. A big well done to both the teams.
As you will know we have started building our collaboration work with MIT in America. Next week, two of our teachers will be travelling to MIT in America to gain professional development in this important area of the curriculum. They will have access to the very best resources and educators in this field and be able to bring knowledge, skills and resources back to BVIS for the benefit of all our children. Over the summer we will be creating something quite special for when the children return in August!
Finally, at the start of this week I sent out a letter on behalf of NAE inviting willing parents who would like to join an online forum to discuss their experiences in education. This is a very important piece of work that will give our schools a real insight into what our families would like to see in education and how we can further improve what we already do. We are seeking up to 25 parents to take part and I hope many of you will take the opportunity. If you wish to register to receive further information then please follow the link below:
