At BVIS, the health and safety of our students is our number one priority. Having our community trained in first aid not only boosts the safety of the entire school, but it also can be the difference between life and death in the event of a serious medical emergency.
On Wednesday 11th September 2019, we delivered our own CPR Parent Workshop in collaboration with Family Medical Practice which saw an enthusiastic participation of almost 30 parents. The event was brilliantly led by Mr. Laihock – an experienced CPR and First Aid Trainer from Family Medical Practice. He presented vital information about accident and injury prevention and demonstrated practical CPR techniques used on infants and young children.
All parents had the opportunity to join in with hands-on training to quickly apply the theory into practice.
