What is Share A Dream?
Share A Dream is an online social engagement platform at www.shareadream.org. It was designed exclusively to engage Nord Anglia Education schools, students and teachers in outreach activities. With Share A Dream, BVIS HCMC can plan, execute and report on outreach activities and events, including volunteering and work with NGOs. Regardless what kind of social campaign is being run, we can easily track details from start to completion, along with information on fundraising amounts, number of goods donated, or total hours volunteered. Students and teachers can get involved in social activities based on the things they truly care about.
Thanks to the launch of Share a Dream, during term 1 and term 2 (2019 - 2020), we have been able to document an enthusiastic involvement from our BVIS HCMC Community. They have been under the great monitoring of Ms Nga Huynh - Primary Community Services Coordinator and Ms Georgina Hardiman - Secondary Community Services Coordinator throughout all projects.

Term 1 Report
The community projects we undertake, such as fundraising activities, afterschool workshops and community days, are based upon the Sustainable Development Goals. Most of these projects are specifically designed to allow our children to directly participate in community improvement activities, providing meaningful service and enriching the learning experience for them.
BVIS students are encouraged to come up with their own creative solutions to problems and to take ownership of community development projects. For example, when working with key community partners which are shelter for disadvantaged or unprivileged children, our children took the leading role in organising beneficial activities for them mentally and physically. These activities could be a club, English lessons, performance for those children to access education, support and enjoyment at the same time. Community coordinators, teachers and staff support the students to ensure the projects they want to contribute to are effective.
