Mr. Simon Higham, Principal
We have now come to the end of what has been yet another extremely successful and rewarding Term 2 at BVIS.
Term 2 Reflections
Throughout the term, our students and their teachers have continued to demonstrate their abilities to go ‘beyond the reach’ and push the boundaries of our unique, bilingual, internationally focused learning. They have both shown a positive resilience during a period of online learning and a determination to return stronger, well prepared and most definitely proud to be part of our school.
On behalf of all our teaching, support and admin staff, I would like to thank you for your continued support, encouragement and feedback of our school community and wish you all a very relaxing and well-deserved holiday. We look forward to seeing all students back in school on Monday 26th April.
Hear from our Alumni - From Vietnam to Lewisburg!
Our alumni are now spread across the 4 corners of the world. Please meet Ngo Thanh Lam, who graduated from her A level studies at BVIS in 2017 and obtained a full scholarship from Bucknell University (Pennsylvania, USA), Yale-NUS University (Singapore) and Tomorrow Young Leaders of York University (Canada).

Year 3 Sleepover
On Thursday after school, our Year 3 children stayed and continued with the adventures planned for them by their teachers. The sleepover was filled with fun and games for our youngest children who join residentials each year. The day began with children arriving with their overnight bags in tow, along with their teddy bears to snuggle up to as they bedded down for the night in the sports hall.
These events are invaluable for our children’s holistic development. Their independence, bravery and perseverance are challenged with these experiences, developing our children’s characters for the better. Thank you for all the support that parents and teachers have given to these experiences for our Years 3 to 5 children over the past term. Year 6’s ‘Big Night In’ is scheduled for Thursday 6th May.
