Clubs & ECAs

In addition to a world-class educational curriculum, BVIS students are encouraged to nurture their passions and find inspiration through extra-curricular activities.

In order to develop your child’s comprehensive development, British Vietnam International School offers a broad range of clubs divided into six categories. Between the categories of Social Activity, Arts, Music, Technology, Sports and Language; there is something for every child.

A world of opportunities

Inspiration flows beyond the academic curriculum and BVIS provides opportunities for children to advance their own individual interests. Each day, the hallways, classrooms, playground, theatre and music room come alive with the sound of excitement as students learn new skills and nurturing their passions.

Children can learn the physical and mental discipline of kung-fu, stretch the mind by perfecting the art of chess, learn the importance of teamwork through football, enjoy the thrill of learning an instrument or discover the joys of preparing and cooking delicious food.

By developing well-rounded students with a range of interests and passions, we provide them with limitless opportunities for future success. We want to inspire our children in all extra-curricular activities they join, developing a life-long love of learning and exploring.

Think local, act global

Children are encouraged to take part in extracurricular clubs not only for their own knowledge and skills development, but to help and support their peers in local communities.

Many of our extra-curricular activities are designed with Global Development Goals to help them become aware of their own responsibilities for social issues and develop the necessary skills of a global citizen.

How it works

Most of the activities are organized after school, specifically from 15:05 to 16:05, however selected activities take place before school, during school or after students’ lunch time. Most extra-curricular clubs are free of charge , however some clubs charge a small fee to pay for hired club trainers.

Every term, we create more clubs to bring the students beneficial, active and interesting activities. We are proud to present such a comprehensive range of extracurricular activities and are looking forward to welcoming your child to develop their own passions.
