Ms. Emily Purdy
Bachelor of Arts in Sociology (Hons), University of Leeds, UK; Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults; Teaching Young Learners’ Extension Certificate; Postgraduate Certificate in Primary Education, Oxford Brookes University, UK

Emily began her teaching career in 2012 in Vietnam where she worked as an English as an Additional Language (EAL) teacher at ILA and the British Council. In 2016, she relocated to Europe and gained further teaching experience in Germany and England. However, Emily missed living in Vietnam and decided to return to HCMC in 2019. Before joining BVIS, she taught in a Primary school in Buckinghamshire, England for two years. Emily is very interested in bilingualism and uses her EAL teaching and Primary school teaching experience to best support her students at BVIS. In her spare time, Emily loves to exercise, read, travel and learn Vietnamese.
