Secondary Chemistry Teacher

Ms. Samantha Best

BSc(hons) in Biochemistry, University of Newcastle upon Tyne PGCE (distinction) with QTS, University of Newcastle upon Tyne

Samantha joins the community at BVIS with a range of experience. She first taught in a secondary school in Oxford, England, where she took on the role of Head of Chemistry. Most recently, Samantha worked for 4 years at The Alice Smith School, Kuala Lumpur, where alongside sharing her passion for Chemistry, she led a “learning coach” team focussed on staff development and innovation in learning and teaching.

In her free time, Samantha is a keen netball player, enjoys exploring new places, is an avid scuba diver and relishes relaxing with a good book.
