Sandra Lehmacher was born in Graubünden in Switzerland and grew up in Milano (Italy), Abu Dhabi (UAE), Vienna (Austria) and Vancouver (Canada). She completed her BA Hons in German literature, French and English at the University of British Columbia. Sandra then obtained her Post Graduate Certificate in Education at Christ Church University in Canterbury (England) and accepted a German and French teacher position at Collège du Léman, Versoix. After ten years as teacher and Head of Department, Sandra recently completed her Master in Education from the Open University during a 2-year maternity sabbatical.
She loves the outdoors, hiking and sailing in the summer and skiing in the winter. As a level 2 ski and snowboard instructor she taught in Canada and Europe for many years in her holidays.
Sandra is a passionate life-long learner, ambitious to bring the best out of her students through creativity and innovation.
