enrolment fees

To join The British International School Budapest, you’ll need to pay our one-off fees.

Application Assessment Fee

We charge a non-refundable Application Assessment Fee of 175,000 HUF, which covers the cost of administering your child’s assessment. This should be paid in full at the same time as you submit your application.

Registration Fee

All new starters need to pay a non-refundable registration fee of 500,000 HUF. This is payable once admission is confirmed, and within eight days of receiving the invoice.

Deposit

All new starters also need to pay a refundable deposit of 350,000 HUF, which is invoiced alongside your first tuition fee payment. The deposit will be returned when the student leaves BISB, so long as all accounts have been settled in full, all school property returned without damage, and the required written notice has been submitted.

BISB TUITION FEES FOR 2026-27

Our fees for 2026-27 include the cost of tuition, textbooks, and associated curricula materials. You can either pay the annual fee in full or in three instalments (one per term). All amounts are in HUF.

Discounts

Annual Discount - If the full year fee is paid by the due date on the invoice, a 4% annual discount will by given on the full year fee. Students starting after 30th September will not be eligible for the annual discount.

Sibling Discount - We are pleased to announce that we offer 2% sibling discount on the 2nd and 3rd child and a 10% discount on the 4th child and onwards. These discounts apply to the sibling(s) enrolled in the lowest year group(s).
