Students from Grade 8 recently took a trip to Andalusia to explore the city of Granada. Their teachers, Laura and Pablo, tell us about the experience.
Our Granada trip was full of unforgettable experiences!
First, we enjoyed a birds-eye view of the town center, including the Albaicín and Sacromonte neighbourhoods. This allowed our group to deepen our understanding of Spain and how historical events have shaped the modern-day country in which we live.
We were also able to examine and reflect on the great importance that cultural contributions, such as the Alhambra, have had on our local country’s society. In addition, visiting the Granada Science Museum (Parque de las Ciencias) helped to deepen and solidify our understanding of what life is like in other ecosystems.
We would like to congratulate our Grade 8 students for their engagement and motivation during the field trip. And, last but not least, we would like to thank the excellent group of teachers who have accompanied us and helped make this trip a success.
¡Gracias!
