What a fantastic way to get into the Christmas Spirit with our annual Christmas concert!
Over 70 pupils from Reception to Year Six took part in a wonderful concert full of joy and beautiful singing which filled The Rosinka Theatre. There were many highlights to the concert and the level of performance was outstanding throughout.
Reception kicked off the event with two fantastic songs from their Christmas production which were a lot of fun. Next, the audience were treated to two super songs sung by the Lower Primary choir, they performed ‘A Hat for My Snowman’ and ‘Jingly’ which was followed by a fantastic rendition of ‘Rudolph the Rednosed Reindeer’, played on the recorder.
It was then the turn of Upper Primary to show off their wonderful talents, with an instrumental piece and a beautiful poem, based on ‘The Christmas Truce’ performed by two of our Year Six pupils, accompanied by two soloists who sang an emotional version of ‘Silent Night’.
The talented performances continued with a traditional Romanian carol and ‘Ave Maria’ sung by a group of Upper Primary students. Next up was the extremely brave Rosinka Staff choir who sang an excellent version of ‘Do They Know It’s Christmas’. Who knew there were so many talented singers hiding amongst the staff?
The evening drew to a close with further pieces by the Upper Primary choir, the whole Primary choir and finally an audience sing along to ‘We Wish You a Merry Christmas’.
The Rosinka Christmas Concert truly was an evening to remember!
