With the commencement of summer, ISM Krylatskoe and Rosinka campuses witnessed the most exciting event of the year: The Colour Run. It turned out to be a huge success!

All the students participated in this activity with enthusiasm. The run had the students playing with environmentally-friendly and safe paint powder whilst running and crossing the fun hurdles.

Their happiness amplified tenfold when the parents and teachers (including members of Senior Management Team) joined the run. The colour-throwing stations, colorful wristbands, lively music, and festive colour blasts were the highlights of the event.

On Lower Campus, the runners started the race in their dazzling white t-shirts, which were covered in brightly hued powder by the end of the race. In Rosinka, students celebrated this festival of colours by running in their brightest outfits and playing a colour tag at the end of the day on the playground.

This event showcased our school’s friendly spirit and also helped students to understand their responsibility and take action within our community. Each lap run by the students was sponsored by their parents, relatives or neighbours. The money collected from the run went to different charities to support the SDG (UNICEF Sustainable Development Goal) ‘Life on Land’ (for more information on this goal, please read on the UN’s webpage https://sdgs.un.org/goals/goal15)

Elections were held on the campus to let students “vote” for their favourite charity. With the huge success of The Colour Run, we look forward to running many more times in the coming years!
