Outstanding Examination Results at A-Level and GCSE in 2022 No mountain high enough can ever deter students from The International School of Moscow from climbing to the top and reaping the fruits of their hard-earned labour. No mountain high enough can ever deter students from The International School of Moscow from climbing to the top and reaping the fruits of their hard-earned labour. This is exactly what our Year 11 and Year 13 cohorts did during the recent session of (I)GCSE and A- Level examinations.

In spite of all the challenges they faced, The Year 13 Class of 2022 produced a fantastic set of A-Level results.

The statistics are hugely impressive, with 80% getting A*-B and 59% A*-A. Both are improvements on last year’s figures. This has enabled many of the students to enter some of the top universities around the world.

Stand out performers include Dongha, who is off to study Engineering at the University of Oxford, and Anna, who is studying Economics and Mathematics at New York University.

Special mention should also be reserved for Shunichiro, who achieved four A* grades and will be studying Mechanical Engineering at Imperial College, London.

There is not enough space here to do justice to all the fantastic success stories, but suffice to say, the whole class are truly a credit to the school, their families and themselves.

Yet again, our annual (I)GCSE results have well surpassed UK and world averages thanks to the dedication and resilience of the Year 11 students and teachers.

98% of students achieved at least five A* to C grades (or equivalent) in their subjects studied including English and Mathematics. A stunning 64% of grades awarded came in at A* or A.

These fantastic results have enabled students to take up post-sixteen courses in the subjects of their choosing and will, no doubt, lead to even more world-class grades in two years’ time.

We are immensely proud of all our students. Their determined attitude, thirst for learning and superb relationships with their teachers have most certainly paid off. We very much look forward to keeping you all updated as they continue their journeys here and abroad.
