Year Three Production: The Lion King

What has been the highlight of the year for Year Three so far? The Lion King production of course!

What an amazing performance by the Year Threes. Their aim was to entertain their audience and they certainly achieved this! Everyone was overwhelmed at the singing, acting and general performance skills of children so young.     

The Lion King has continued to be a favourite with the children despite all of the rehearsals of lines and songs. They enjoyed becoming the animal they portrayed and were delighted at seeing their wonderful head pieces come to life. A special thanks to Ms Kurginyan for her creative flair in making our head pieces. Another huge thanks to Mr Marshall, who not only taught the children all of the songs and played the piano in each performance but recorded himself singing each song to help us with our rehearsals.

The students worked hard to rehearse their lines and put it together over the last few weeks. 'Hakuna Matata' has become an every day motto in our class and one we recommend anyone to live by! It is safe to say 'Circle of Life' will be heard echoing through the corridors and playgrounds for many weeks and months to come.
