Students, staff and parents at La Côte International School Aubonne, part of the global Nord Anglia Education family of schools, are celebrating the outstanding IGCSE (International General Certificate of Secondary Education) results achieved by our first ever cohort.

Head of Secondary, Andrew McLoughlin, comments: “To say that our first ever cohort to complete the two-year IGCSE deserves to be commended on their fantastic achievement would be a massive understatement! Like our IBDP graduates, they too managed to deliver a 100% pass rate, with some further impressive statistics worthy of celebration: 78% of grades were a 6 or higher; 64% were a 7 and above; 40% scored a grade 8 or higher; and a staggering 19% of grades were a 9 - the very highest grade possible at IGCSE! While their impressive results are evidence of their ability and perseverance under especially challenging circumstances, they could not have been achieved without the ongoing support of their friends, families and our dedicated LCIS staff. They are now perfectly placed to build on their success as they start their DP in earnest this week. Well done to our first full IGCSE cohort - you have certainly placed the bar very high indeed!“

Personalised support and a caring and motivating learning environment nurture in our students the belief that they can achieve more than we, or they, ever thought possible.

We offer rigorous and compelling curricula which are respected by the world's top universities, and encourage critical thinking, teamwork and leadership. To learn more about the IGCSE at La Côte International School Aubonne, please click here
