Dear Parents,
What a wonderful week it has been at school. The children are settling beautifully into their new routines and growing more confident every day. It’s been such a joy to see them forming friendships, sharing smiles, and embracing all the exciting opportunities our campus has to offer.

From lively classroom activities and whole-school assemblies to adventures on the outdoor balcony, in the garden, and across our covered playground, the children have been exploring every corner of their learning environment.
These moments of play are powerful— fueling imagination, developing essential skills, and nurturing social connections that help children thrive.
Learning Through Interests One of the things that makes our approach special is that we follow the children’s interests. When something captures their curiosity, our teachers build on it to create meaningful, engaging experiences that deepen learning in fun and authentic ways.

•
Nursery: Our youngest learners are still captivated by
Fire Engine role play! From bravely “putting out fires” to working as a team, this play is helping them develop collaboration, problem-solving, and communication skills. Today, they even began
building their own fire engine, which not only fuels their imagination but also strengthens fine motor skills and creativity.
•
Reception: Over in Reception, the children have
set sail into the world of Pirates! Inspired by their surroundings, they’ve been busy constructing a pirate ship and crafting hats and telescopes. This imaginative play encourages storytelling, language development, and teamwork—all while having a fantastic time on the Reception balcony!
•
Year 1: Our oldest children have been taking their learning beyond the classroom. On Friday, they went on a
local nature walk to explore the sights, sounds, and smells of our immediate environment. This activity supports scientific thinking, observation skills, and environmental awareness, helping children understand seasonal changes and the world around them.
Outdoor Learning & Wellbeing

Our outdoor spaces—including the
Secret Garden (Forest School) and our
all-weather covered playground—play a vital role in supporting physical health, emotional wellbeing, and resilience. Whether climbing, running, or engaging in nature-based learning, these experiences foster confidence, creativity, and a lifelong love of the outdoors.
Exciting News: ECA Programme Our
Extra-Curricular Activities (ECA) programme sign-up is now open! ECAs begin on
Monday, 22nd September and offer children the chance to explore new interests and mix with different age groups. From

In addition,
Asia Adventure Support (AAS) will run
Mini-Soccer and
Gymnastics clubs on campus. Please note:
• Sign-up for AAS clubs is

Warm regards,
Ruth Hanson
