A Fantastic Day of Sport, Spirit, and Community!

What an extraordinary Primary Sports Day we enjoyed on Friday!

From the moment the first events began, the energy across all fields was amazing. Our children approached every challenge, whether a competitive sprint, a relay, or the much-loved dress-up relay, with determination, positivity, and an impressive sense of sporting character.

It was wonderful to see the pride with which our children represented their Houses, celebrating not only their own achievements but the successes of their peers as well. The teamwork, encouragement, and belonging on display were truly the heart of the day.

In turn, we celebrate that Sandringham were our Key Stage 1 Sports Day Champions and Caernarfon were our Key Stage 2 Champions!

A standout highlight was the overwhelming support from our parent community. The turnout was exceptional, and your cheers and encouragement created an atmosphere that lifted every child to achieve more. Your presence reminded our children how supported they are, and it meant the world to them and to us.

Finally, we would like to extend our thanks to the PTA and Parent Volunteers whose commitment and generosity of time were essential to making the event run smoothly. Our gratitude also goes to the School Admin and Facilities Teams, whose behind the scenes efforts ensured everything was ready and safe for our young competitors. And of course, a huge thank you to our P.E. Team, Teachers and TLAs, who guided, supported, and celebrated the children throughout the day with the enthusiasm and care that define our school community.

Thank you for helping us create a day filled with pride, community spirit, and unforgettable memories.

If we acknowledge that it takes a village to raise a child, then our village certainly came out in full force on Friday.

Sports Day 2026 will surely be one we remember for a long time!

Celebrating Chinese New Year - Year of the Horse

Chinese New Year is a joyful celebration marking the start of the lunar new year. Families gather to share festive meals, honour traditions, and welcome good fortune. In 2026, we celebrate the Year of the Horse. The Horse symbolises energy, independence, and enthusiasm, bringing a lively and optimistic spirit to the year ahead.

In school this week, our PTA have come together to give children red envelopes of chocolate coins, ice cream and lion dances while our Chinese department are leading with spectacular cultural celebrations. It is going to be a week to remember!

We warmly wish all our families a joyful and meaningful celebration, with the year of The Horse representing energy, independence, and optimism, bringing a lively and enthusiastic spirit to the year ahead. May your homes be filled with good health, happiness, and togetherness as you enjoy festive traditions, delicious meals, and time with loved ones.

新年快乐 (Xīnnián Kuàilè)!
恭喜发财 (Gōngxǐ Fācái)!

Wishing every family a prosperous and uplifting year ahead.
