As we all know, exercise is so vital not only for our physical health but also for our mental health. This week I was very proud to see our Year Four to Year Six Students participate in our Global Campus Virtual 2km run.

All students completed the race, whether they ran, skipped or walked – and they should be delighted with their accomplishment. I spoke with students after the event who were very proud of their achievement even though they were quite tired!

I was most delighted to see was the students' high spirits from the exercised-induced endorphins, which is testament to the importance of physical exertion.

There was a buzz around school which inevitably promotes engaged learning. With the weather promising to be lovely this weekend, we encourage families to make the most of it. Go out for a walk, preferably in nature or a park to keep up the fitness momentum. It is a great way to spend time together as a family whilst practising mindful strategies for a well-balanced lifestyle.

Have a lovely weekend,

Tamara
