Dr. Deanne Reynolds

Cultural Intelligence and Inclusion Coordinator

I’m currently in my twentieth year as an educator and proudly serve as the Cultural Intelligence and Inclusion Coordinator, Social Impact Advisor, and Social Science Teacher at North Broward Preparatory School, where I’ve been on faculty for the past three years. Originally from Kingston, Jamaica, I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and a Master’s in International Business from the University of Florida, along with a Doctorate in Education Leadership and Innovation from St. Thomas University.

I’m passionate about global education and student empowerment, and I bring that energy into the classroom and beyond. I teach a variety of Social Science courses including AP World History, U.S. History, and International Relations. I also advise both the Rho Kappa National Social Studies Honor Society and the UNICEF Club, supporting students in leading initiatives such as World Children’s Day campaigns and service-learning projects in Jamaica and Tanzania.

As a graduate of Nord Anglia Education’s Middle Leaders Program, I designed a change project aimed at promoting global citizenship through cross-cultural collaboration. I’ve had the privilege of mentoring students in launching grant-funded arts and athletics programs in underserved communities and guiding them in presenting culturally sustaining research at national conferences.

I strive to create opportunities for students to lead with empathy, think critically, and make a meaningful impact in their communities. I was honored to serve as the 2025 Commencement speaker for North Broward Prep’s graduating class, an unforgettable milestone in my journey as an educator.
