Lynsie Edminston

3rd Grade Teacher

As an educator, I am deeply committed to cultivating a classroom environment where every child feels valued, safe, and inspired to learn. With experience teaching both first and third grade, I bring a flexible and developmentally responsive approach to instruction, always attuned to the individual needs of my students.

I earned my bachelor’s degree in Early Education from Bethany College, where I also minored in Special Education and received endorsements in Reading and Autism. Recently, I went on to earn my master’s degree in Child Psychology from Southern New Hampshire University. This academic foundation has strengthened my ability to understand and support the emotional and cognitive development of every child in my care.

My teaching philosophy centers on the belief that learning is most powerful when it engages the whole child. I strive to foster not only academic achievement but also emotional intelligence, resilience, and curiosity. By integrating social-emotional learning into daily routines and instruction, I help students build the confidence and empathy needed to thrive in and beyond the classroom.
