Pizza Trip

Just before the half-term break, the Y1 classes went on what is arguably the most delicious of our KS1 trips. One that has become something of a tradition over recent years. Miss Cassie explains more:

To finish Year 1’s Senses topic the children took a trip to Basilico Pizzeria Restaurant.

The children watched the chef make and roll out the pizza bases. They got to have a turn at making the base which proved to be more difficult than it looked. Once the base was made the children got to put on their own toppings. With the pizzas out of the oven and a “buon appetito” the children sat down and ate their yummy pizzas.

KS1 Maths Workshop Tomorrow - (Exam Room on the top floor of R Block)

On Tuesday 1st November at 1:20pm, we will be holding a parents’ workshop on all things Maths. We will show you how the children learn to count, add, subtract and divide in Year 1 and 2 so that you are able to use the same methods at home.

If you would like to attend, please could you send a quick reply so we have an idea of how many people to expect. There will be a few goodies to take home so that you have the same resources we use in school.

Parent Consultations

The information for Parent Meetings should have come out to you by email at the end of last week. If you have not received it please contact the class teachers directly to arrange your appointment.
