Healthy Eating Poster Competition

Last half term the Year 3 teachers launched a Healthy Eating Poster Competition in their KS2 assembly. A winning design was chosen by the Year 3 team and this was passed on to our graphic designer, Khun Nay. He has turned the winning design into two large posters which are now proudly hanging in both of our canteens. We would like to say a huge well done to Ice in Y6 for her winning design and the simple message it conveys- A healthy outside starts from the inside.

Christmas Gift Boxes

In KS2, every year we collect gifts for the children at our House charity – The Bangkok Refugee Centre. This takes the form of gift boxes, in which small items suitable for either a boy or a girl of a specific age are placed. These boxes will be placed under the Christmas tree in the school office, which will be appearing in a few weeks’ time. These gifts will be delivered to the Bangkok Refugee Centre by some of our school House team. We will let you know soon when it is time to start bringing these gifts into school, but want to give you all time to start preparing a box.

What you need:

  • An old shoebox, or similar sized box is the perfect size

  • Select a range of items to put in the box- suitable toiletries, toys, books, etc.

  • Clearly label the box - boy or girl & age rang
