Transport Manager

  • Period: Full Time
  • Contract:

Overall:

1. Traffic Management

  • Collect, analyze and report all traffic related information
  • Plan and implement strategies to improve the transportation process

2. Transport Cost Management

  • Demonstrate cost – profit analysis on the school transportation system

3. Communication

  • Be engaged in any issues relevant to the  school transport system
  • Communicate with parents and staff of any issues related to the school transport arrangement and management

School Bus:

1. Route Management

  • Proven to plan and implement school bus routing system. Ensure that the system works on the basis of cost-effectiveness and time efficiency.
  • Indicate contingency plan for school bus route towards changing circumstance.
  • Monitor, control and improve the school bus system. Ensure that the system runs smoothly with higher standard of parents’ as well as minimum or even zero inaccuracies.

2. School Bus Resources Management

  • Schedule and assign tasks to contracted buses to run daily service.
  • Supervise and appraise performance of school bus drivers and bus monitors.
  • Pay-roll management for contracted buses.
  • Coordinate and allocate rental minivans to run school trips.
  • Auto check on vehicles and gadgets being used for running school service in order to ensure health and safety of children riding on the buses.
  • Recruit new contracted bus drivers and monitors.

3. Customer Service Management

  • Produce and provide service related information including transportation zone, cost, pick-up times, school bus policies etc.
  • Follow-up to finish school bus registration process.
  • Handle complaints and resolve day-to-day operational issues.
  • Coordinate with other departments in order to accomplish school bus system related tasks.

Shuttle Bus:

  1. Operational Management
  • Indicate need for shuttle bus service in order to support the school operation.
  • Traffic management - Survey and generate the routing for shuttle bus service.
  • Plan and schedule the shuttle bus timetables.
  • Plan and allocate tasks to bus drivers.
  • Initiate and implement process and procedure of the school transportation vehicle usage.
  • Coordinate with other departments in school transportation related issues.
  1. Transportation Resources Management
  • Schedule and allocate tasks to drivers to run daily service.
  • Supervise and appraise performance of school bus drivers.
  • OT and other allowance management for drivers.
  • Auto check on vehicles and gadgets being used for running school service in order to ensure health and safety of children riding on the buses.
  • Recruit new drivers.
