Last week was a great first week back at school. The new children that started to school were brilliantly supported by their new friends in class and everything ran very smoothly.
The highlight of the week was the Early Years Physical Fun Day. Brilliantly organised by Mrs Meg and the EY Team, it was great to see all of the families there to support the children as they rotated their way through bike rides, parachute fun, and obstacle courses to name but a few….
With aerobic activities and ones to strengthen bones and muscles, everyone got a work-out on Friday!
Community Day (formally known as Fun Day)
You will know by now that Community Day is coming soon - on Saturday 4th February.
There will be a lot of activities, rides, games and food to draw in the crowds.
One very popular addition last year was a ‘White Elephant” stall run by Early Years and the Learning Support Team. Below is a request by the organisers to go through your cupboards!
It's That Time of Year Again!
After the very successful activity on Fun Day last year, we are running the White Elephant, Toy and Book stall again.
So have a good clear out for the start of the New Year and bring it all to school. Anything you don't want whether it is books, toys or ornaments.
There will be boxes at the bottom of the T block. Just put in a bag with your child's house name on to earn House Points.
Thank you very much!
Ms Meg and Learning Support Team.
