What a great success the Primary Book Week Bake-Off was. A few of the PTG Committee members had the honour of being part of the judging panel. The imagination and skills shown by all our young bakers was very impressive. Our congratulations to everyone who took part.
In an effort to build on the St. Andrews community, the PTG is launching a series of informal coffee mornings. These coffee mornings are open for all parents, both new to the school or not so new, and their aim is to provide an opportunity for parents to get together, get to know each other and chat. The first such coffee morning will be held this Friday, 31 March 2017 from 08.00 and will probably last about an hour. To kick off this coffee morning we are happy to be able to let you know that our school counsellors, Ms. Amy and Ms. Simone, will be joining us. They will not be giving a long presentation but will just say a few words on the main issues affecting our young people. Please come along, enjoy a cup of coffee or tea and get to know other parents.
The second-hand uniform sale was a huge success last Wednesday. We made more than 18,000 baht in just over an hour. The proceeds of this and subsequent sales will be donated to the Baan Dek Foundation – one of the school’s charities – and the money will be used to buy school uniform for all the children who the Foundation is helping.
Albane is happy to receive your queries about second-hand uniforms. If you are looking for a particular item, please drop her an e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org and she will let you know about availability and price. Equally, if you have school uniform that is still in good condition but that you no longer need, Albane is happy to receive all donations. Again, just drop her an e-mail.
As always, the PTG Committee is here to help. If you any questions, comments or suggestions, please do not hesitate to get in touch with us. You can send us an e-mail to PTGChair@standrews.ac.th
