Dear Parents,
Thank you to Mr. Paul for a very interesting and detailed presentation on the High School campus as well as plans for adapting the 71 campus and transforming it into what will be a fantastic primary facility.
At the meeting, we informed parents that we had not received a reply from Nord Anglia Education to the letter we sent them in early May regarding the increase in school fees and asking for a representative from NAE to come to St. Andrews and meet with the parents.
After the meeting, I e-mailed the Regional Manager asking him when we could expect a reply to our letter. His reply can be found here.
Should any parents have further questions about the new fees, Mr. Paul is very happy to meet with you either individually or in another parent meeting. Please feel free to contact him directly or contact the PTG on PTGChair@standrews.ac.th and if the numbers are sufficient we will happily organize another information session before the end of the school year.
The Annual General Meeting of the PTG was due to be held on Wednesday this week, 14 June 2017. However, after extensive discussions with Mr. Paul, it has been decided to postpone the AGM until the first term of the next academic year. This will give us time to look at the structure of the PTG Committee moving forward to ensure that the interests of parents at both campuses can be met. With many new parents joining the school community, there will be many more voices to be heard.
Please remember that the venue for our PTG Summer Party has changed. The party is this Friday, 16 June 2017 but will now be held at the Light Loft at THA Hotel, Sukhumvit Soi 63, Ekamai Soi 6. It is at the corner of Soi 6 opposite Big C and there is ample parking at Big C.
Due to the heavy rain and flooding that we have been experiencing lately, we thought it safer to hold the party under cover. Tickets are available but selling fast. Please get your ticket and come and join us to celebrate another successful year at St. Andrews. The community grows from strength to strength and that is thanks to everyone.
Thank you.
