Training will begin on the first Friday of the new term.
Primary Sport for 2017-18
We are at the end of another successful year for Primary sport. Our sports teams continue to reach new heights and participation is at an all time high.
Next year we will continue to grow with new opportunities for tennis, gymnastics, dance, basketball, badminton and football.
Tennis
We have a new head coach for tennis and there will be 3 ECA's available for Years 1, 2, 3 and 4. Also, the Flames Tennis will train every Thursday and this is for the selected players from Year 4, 5 and 6.
Gymnastics
Gymnastics is a new sport to develop next year and we will have 4 ECA's and 1 STA Gymnastics Squad for Year 4, 5, 6 (every Thursday).
Basketball
There will be Basketball squads for U9/U11 boys and girls, with the U11 teams now being able to train after school rather than lunchtime as in previous years.
Basketball for U11 girls is on Mondays and U11 boys is on Thursdays, both from 2.45-4.15pm.
Basketball for U9 boys and girls will be on Friday lunchtime (12.40-1.10pm).
Football
Football squad training for U9/U11 boys (Year 3, 4, 5, 6) will be on a Monday as usual but U9/U11 girls(Year 3, 4, 5, 6) will change to a Tuesday. This is to allow more squads to train with our coaches and to have the extra coaching time to develop.
Badminton
There will be Badminton squads for Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 with training extended to one and a half hours after school rather than 30 minutes in previous years.
Boys Badminton is on Tuesdays 2.45-4.15pm
