Foundation Stage & Key Stage 1: Fun Day is coming!

Find out more about the upcoming Fun Day in February and learn about how you can contribute to the White Elephant Stall.

As you know, the next whole school event on our school calendar is Fun Day (Saturday 3rd February).

One of the most popular stalls at Fun Day is the White Elephant Stall, run by Mrs Meg and the Early Years Team and Miss Jane, Khun Third and the Learning Support Team.

Some of you might want to know, What is a White Elephant stall?  Some of you might know it as a Garage Sale.  It is a chance for you to go through your cupboards and donate some items that you might not need any more. It might be clothes, toys, games, ornaments - pretty much anything that is still useful to someone, but not you!

Some items are already coming in for the stall.  Your unwanted treasures will be sold for a bargain price and all money raised will go to a specific school charity - last year it went to the Mercy Centre as part of our donation to the Klong Toey Community rebuilding programme following a serious fire.

All items donated will earn House Points, so when you bring in the items please make sure your child’s name and house are on the bags.  You will see the collection boxes around EYFS/KS1 or they can be taken to the classroom and given to class teachers.

More Dates for the Diary

Friday 19th January is the date for Early Years families to put on their sports shoes and come and join the children for the Physical Fun Day.  Starting at 8am on the field.

As mentioned last week that the Y1 Numeracy Homework Games were due to be launched soon.

On Thursday 25th January the Y1 teachers invite you to an 8am meeting.  On the agenda will be the Numeracy Homework Games and also an introduction Seesaw, the interactive learning journal that we are using in Y1.
