It’s that time of year again when we dazzle you with some of our students’ best, most creative and thought-provoking theatre performances you will see all year.

Three years ago we piloted our very first showcase event which took place at the M Theatre on New Petchaburi Road. The evening was such a success the audience was talking about the evening for months after. From then it became an annual event that just keeps getting bigger and better each year. This year will yet again not disappoint with even more amazing and creative theatre.

As we now have our very own theatre, we will be performing here at the High School which is very exciting. The evening will not only be the first big performance event that will take place in our theatre, but it will also be the grand opening of the theatre with food, drink and celebrations to follow for one night only.

Tickets are 200 baht each and can be purchased from the main office (High School). Tickets will sell out fast so don’t delay.

“Missing in Me”

missing in me - FA cover

We are very fortunate to be able to showcase BYTE’s new theatre piece as they complete their tour of Australia, Europe and Asia.  BYTE (BackYardTheatreEnsemble) is an independent company presenting theatre from and for young people. Missing in Me their new theatre piece is devised by the ensemble and Joachim Matschoss who our Drama students really enjoyed working with last year. For this show Joachim has also collaborated with UK based composer Matthew Ganton and Melbourne composer Ross Brooks to create the original musical score.

It tells the story of Samira and her sister Millie who surrounded by wealth and an absence of love. Samira has just finished her schooling and tries make sense of what is ahead of her. The theatre piece deals with identity, parent-child relationships, love and what it means to be young in today’s times.
