PTG: Fun Day - a celebration of the great St Andrews community

The PTG details the information you need to have a great day at Fun Day on Saturday.

fun day

Fun Day is this coming Saturday – 3 February 2018.  Plans are finalized and it will be a fantastic day for children and parents alike. There will be lots exciting rides and plenty to eat and drink.  The High School bands will be performing and this year, for the first time, there will be a fencing demonstration.  If this is a sport that you’re interested in, this is a great opportunity to see what’s involved.  Amazing K the magician will be around all day performing tricks and he will be putting on a show on the Library Steps at 4.30, right before the Grand Raffle Draw.

Raffle tickets have been sent home this week.  There are some amazing prizes to be won so please buy tickets.  You’ve got to be in it to win it so buy as many tickets as you can. Tickets cost 50 baht each.  A full book costs 500 baht.  Please return the ticket stubs and money to the school office.  It would be most appreciated if you could also return any unsold tickets as well.

Entry bracelets are available at both the Primary and High School Offices.  The blue bracelets cost 500 baht and give access to all rides.  The yellow bracelets cost 100 baht and allow entry on the campus only.  There will be upgrade stations around school so you can upgrade from yellow to blue if you would like to.  Our CAS students will be running carnival games in the High School quad and will be charging a nominal fee for these games and all proceeds will go to various school charities.  There will also be the tradition Rose Café, this year in the the main canteen and is a great place to take a break from all the excitement and have a cup of coffee and a slice of homemade cake.

Sign-up for the scuba diving in the main pool, provided by Mermaid Diving from Pattaya, will be via Moodle. You will need a swimsuit and a towel.

It is a good idea to bring a towel and a change of clothes, even if you’re not interested in diving, as the foam pit is always a very popular attraction.

Come along have a great day.  Enjoy the great St  Andrews community.
