Primary School House: Taking aim

Our House events kicked off with penalty shootouts… October will offer many more events.

Last week, in the heat of battle (quite literally as it was boiling!), Years 3, 4 and 6 showed their nerves of steel in the House penalty shootouts. Congratulations to Karen in Year 3, Yao in Year 4 and Lahu in Year 6 for winning the shootouts! Also, a huge thank you to everyone who took part and helped their teams earn house points. Next week, the eagerly anticipated Year 5 competition will take place. Come on Akha, it’s your turn to win.

This month is jam-packed with exciting House Events at St Andrews International School Bangkok. On 5 October, we will have our first ‘Mindful Friday’ of the year, where children from KS1 and 2 will be able to join in a yoga session during their break time.

On 9 October, the House Reps and Captains from Y4 - 6 will be assisting FS3 with their annual Highland Games.

On 10 October, a group of 48 Year 3’s will be heading to the High School to take part in a House Football Festival arranged by Mr Pat and run by the Year 10 sports leaders.

And finally, on 19 October, KS1 and STARS will take part in a 'Bubble Run’ to raise money for the Good Shepherd Sisters charity, with House Reps and Captains assisting with the bubble blowing!
