Santa is looking for helpers

The end of Term 1 is fast approaching and with it come Christmas parties and a visit from Santa. The PTG is looking for a few helpers to assist Santa in distributing gifts in Primary School. With the increase in students, he needs help carrying all the gifts. If you have some free time during the last week of term, and would like to be involved in this fun (but hot) activity, please send an email to ptgchair@standrews.ac.th">ptgchair@standrews.ac.th. The schedule of Santa’s visit to St Andrews International School Bangkok is still being finalized but please let us know if you have a morning free.

High School Focus Group

The High School Focal Points within the PTG Committee have been following up with Mr Roo at High School on a number of concerns raised by our High School parents - notably the weight of the bags that our children are carrying and linked to that, access to their lockers. Access to e-books instead of using text books is also being followed up on, particularly for those students in Year 10 and above who are affected by the BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) scheme. Another issue of great concern is security of personal items - please see Mr Roo’s Newsletter article from last week - which outlines procedures to be followed when personal belongings are lost.
