Keep an eye out for the huge range of events and competitions taking place throughout the week and encourage your children to get involved and earn some house points. There will even be a chance for you to earn some house points with a parents book quiz, so look out for an email in your inbox.
Parent Consultations
This term’s parent consultations will be held on Tuesday 27 March and Tuesday 3 April. This is your opportunity to discuss your child’s progress and get an insight into how well they are doing in school. If you would like to make an appointment, please use the links for each year group below. The teachers will try and accommodate time slot requests as closely as possible to your choices, but some times prove to be very popular, and you may be offered an alternative.

Each child is allocated a 15-minute consultation. If you feel you need more time than this, which is often the case with families with children who receive some kind of specific support- EAL, Learning Support, etc.- you have the option to arrange an appointment outside of the appointed consultation days. Please contact the class teacher directly to do this. They will arrange an appointment for you before or after school on a day/time that is convenient for everyone.

You can check the confirmed appointment times by clicking on this link, which will give you access to the Google folder which contains spreadsheets for each year group. Please note that the teachers will be updating these regularly over the course of the next week, so please keep checking back to find your appointment.
*There may be slight adjustments to times over the week to fit everyone in as closely as possible to their requested times.
Year 4D, 4J and 4P Music Concert
The rest of Year 4 performed in their music concert last Wednesday in the Drama Studio. This was a celebration of all of the work they have done over the year so far in music. There was a fantastic turnout from the parents of these classes who were entertained by a mixture of solo and ensemble pieces. This included some student compositions using the pentatonic scale, and goes to show how the children are exploring music within their lessons. This was nicely mixed with some practised pieces all on the theme of natural disasters. A huge thanks to Ms Alice and Mrs Marie for their hard work over the year so far with developing and strengthening the Year 4 music programme.
