PTG Summer Party
Wow. What can I say? What a fantastic evening. Despite the terrible traffic on Friday evening, parents and teachers battled their way to Viva Thonglor and then had a blast. Our heartfelt thanks go to the team at Viva Thonglor for welcoming us so warmly. It was a great location. Thank you also to the Estates and ICT teams at school who transported equipment to and from the venue. DJ Tina’s music was spot on and there was dancing both inside and out on the street in Thonglor. Ann, Jas and Nik from the PTG Committee out-did themselves again this year. I don’t know how we’re going to top it next year but you can be sure we will try. Seeing parents and teachers having such a great time together really underlined the great community that we have here at St Andrews.
Goodbye to Rosy
The PTG Committee is sorry to have to say goodbye to Rosy who has been a most valued member of the team for the past two years. She is committed heart and soul to the community at school and has worked tirelessly behind the scenes supporting the parents and all our activities. Good luck in your next adventure Rosy and we will miss you.
Second-hand uniform sale
There will be a sale of second-hand uniform at the Primary School on Tuesday, 26 June 2018 starting at 07.15 a.m. and running until 10.30 a.m. It will be held outside the Uniform Shop at the Primary School. Please come along and pick up a bargain before the end of term, ready for the start of next year. All money raised from the sale of second-hand uniform is donate to the Baan Dek Foundation, one of our school’s charities and they use it to buy uniforms for the children in their care.
If you have any uniform at home that you no longer need and that is in good condition, please bring it into school this week. You can leave it in the Office and our volunteers will collect it from there.
PTG Facebook Group
Don’t forget we have a very lively Facebook Page where you can keep up with everything that is going on at school but also you can use it as a means to get in touch with other people. This is just one of the many ways that the PTG is working to strengthen our school community.
As always, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us if you have any suggestions, questions or concerns. The easiest way to reach us is by email on email@example.com or many of us are around in the mornings both at Primary and High School and you are welcome to have a chat at any time.
