Key Stage 2: Showcasing our students talents and hard work

Please confirm your plans for next academic year if you haven’t done so already...Year 5 students travelled back in time to Ancient Rome during their celebration of “Roman Day”...The KS2 production of The Jungle Book was a celebration of the cast’s hard work and their natural talents… Next week is Choose Kind Week, so find out about some of the activities on offer.

Classes for next academic year

Just before last week’s break, students in KS2 all received a Google form by email on which to record their choices of 5 learning buddies - students that they would like to work with in their new class next year. The teachers are currently analysing these choices to help create new class for next year. New students will be evenly spread across these new classes.

We are still waiting for a few of our current families to get in touch via our leavers survey to outline their intentions for next year- stay, leave or if they are as yet unsure. This information is vital to help us identify available places.

If you have not yet replied, you can do so by clicking on this link. We will also be individually emailing families that we haven’t had a response from later this week.

If there are special circumstances in the case of your family please call Khun Jeep or Mr Bartek.

Roman Day in Year 5

Last Friday, our Year 5 students travelled back in time to Ancient Rome. This was a lovely opportunity for the children to take part in a range of activities which allowed them to experience life in Ancient Rome. This included cooking, clay modelling, shield making and stop go animation.  The children then got to try out some of the food that was produced in their Roman feast.

Kings of the Jungle!

The week before the half term break, the KS2 production of The Jungle Book was performed for the parents over three nights. This was an amazing celebration of all of the hard work the cast put in since their auditions all the way back in August. A huge thank you goes to all of the teachers and LSAs who got involved in the preparations for the show and worked tirelessly with the children to get them ready to go on stage.

Thank you also goes to the parents who paid for the golden seats and those who generously donated to the collection buckets at the end of each performance. A grand total of 24,156.25 Baht was raised for the Wildlife Friends Foundation of Thailand.
