This week, the spotlight falls on football but there are so many other opportunities for our students to get involved in sport.

Football

What a fantastic weekend for our High School Footballers at the HIS International 7s tournament. 70 students represented STA over Friday and Saturday with Flames and Blaze teams in both U13 girls/boys, plus Flames teams for our U15 boys and girls. The level of competition was impressive across all age groups with schools from Hong Kong, Singapore and China. Our teams did not disappoint and worked incredibly hard for their team mates. Our U15 & U13 girls both came 3rd place but were so close to winning in their tournaments.

Rugby

The Varsity Boys had a great day at the BISAC Cup on Saturday. They lost their play-off for 3rd but progress has been huge and they go home stronger and wiser!

Tennis

This week we’re back on court with lots of opportunities to train, compete and have fun. Come and join our growing STA Tennis community. Weekday and weekend opportunities available for everyone! Contact tennis@standrews.ac.th for more information.

FNG#2

Our next night game is on Friday 8 February against a visiting team from BIS Phuket. It will feature our U15 boys and girls team, as well as the usual music, popcorn and half-time shooting competitions!

Tickets will go on sale soon in the school entrance. (If you buy tickets for students not at St Andrews, then they must be accompanied by an adult).

Keep in touch

Please stay up-to-date by joining our STA Flames & Marlins Facebook closed group for parents and students who are part of our Sports Programme.

As it’s a closed group not open to the general public, please complete the questions so that we know if you’re part of our STA community.

Parents may post to this group and it’s been great to see some of your photos of our kids in action!
