PTG: Best wishes for a prosperous 2019

The PTG Committee wishes the entire St Andrews International School Bangkok community a healthy, happy and prosperous New Year and outlines some upcoming events. Don’t miss the informal coffee morning at High School on Thursday.

international day

The PTG Committee would like to wish our entire St Andrews community a very happy New Year and would like to extend a special welcome to all the new families joining our community.

Our aim is to work together for the common good of our student body, and to foster goodwill and clear communication amongst parents, teachers and students. We do this in many different ways and there are lots of opportunities to get involved. Look out for more information coming soon on our Parents’ Activities for this term. There are many different ways to keep up-to-date with what is happening at school - you can have a look at any of the following social media channels:

And don’t forget the PTG’s own Facebook group where you can find out lots of useful information about school as well as getting used to living in Bangkok if you are new to the city. If you would like to contact us about something specific, please don’t hesitate to get in touch by email on ptgchair@standrews.ac.th">ptgchair@standrews.ac.th.

A great way to meet other parents and get a feeling for our community is the informal coffee morning that will be held at High School on Thursday this week. Another informal get-together will be organized soon at the Primary School. Please don’t hesitate to join us at High School on Thursday morning even if your children are at Primary School. Our get togethers are for everyone.

Informal Coffee Morning at High School

All parents are invited to a coffee morning on Thursday, 10 January 2019. The event will be held in the Simon Lawrence Library at the High School campus and will start at 08.00 - 09.00 a.m. There is no need to rush to get there for 08.00 - you are welcome to pop in at any time.

This is an informal gathering aimed at welcoming new STA parents and letting “old” parents get to know one another or just catch up.

Please come along to the High School Coffee Morning to experience the warm community feel here at St Andrews International School Bangkok - something of which we are very proud. We look forward to seeing you there.

Date for your Diary - next PTG meeting

The next meeting of the PTG will be held on Thursday, 17 January at 08.30 a.m. in the High School. More information will follow at the start of next term.

Fun Day 2019

Fun Day is just around the corner and will be held on Saturday, 2 February 2019 at the Primary School. Plans are already well under way: rides are booked and food and shopping vendors are booking their places. This is always a great day for parents to relax while their children enjoy a day packed with fun in a safe environment. More details on entry bracelets and raffle tickets and prizes will follow soon. Please remember that this is the only fund-raising event for the PTG in the year. The more money we raise through entry bracelets and the sale of raffle tickets, the more money we have to support our students and community.
