Musical Excitement for Year 5

Last week was an exciting week for year 5 as they began their journey with their new musical instruments. This follows an 8 week period of exploring each instrument and learning about the instruments of the orchestra to support them in making their choices. They have been thinking carefully about how to practice (when and where), taking care of their instruments and arriving for their lessons well prepared having done their homework practice. The music teachers have worked with them so they understand some of the challenges they will face and we are all looking forward to being rewarded for their efforts with a wonderful Year 5 concert later in the year!

Clarinet Extravaganza

On 10 November 2019, 4 St Andrews International School Bangkok students from Primary and High School performed in a special clarinet concert organised by our very own clarinet specialist, Mr Wan. These students have made remarkable progress and have shown lots of commitment in their preparations for the concert. They have really benefited from the inspirational teaching of Mr Wan and have gained so much from this opportunity to perform at a high level. Well done everyone.
