Long Live the King, His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn

St Andrews International School Bangkok has joined the whole nation in expressing our loyalty, gratitude and best wishes to His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn on the occasion of His Royal Coronation Ceremony. The School organised two assemblies, at the Primary School in the morning and at the High School in the afternoon, to commemorate the special, national celebration of the Thai people. The Bureau of the Royal Household has declared that the royal coronation ceremony will be held during the 4th to the 6th of May when King Maha Vajiralongkorn, or King Rama X of the Chakri Dynasty, will officially ascend the throne, in accordance with the royal tradition.

The assembly programme included a tribute speech, a ceremony performed by the Thai Department, a  poem read by Ajarn Pat followed by a Thai dance performance and brief video clips about His Majesty’s life and the royal coronation ceremony.
