Welcome new and returning families to our ever-growing Sport Programme at St Andrews International School Bangkok, I hope you’ve had a great summer and are looking forward to what we have in store this year.

For those of you new to our community, my name is Mr Adam and I am Head of High School Sport. This is my fifth year at STA and I am very much looking forward to what lies ahead.

Last year was a great success in both the growth and achievement of our athletes. It’s fair to say we have now firmly established an excellent reputation within the region. As we look ahead, it is now time to build upon that success, to always improve, to always get better.

In June 2020, we will look back on the year together, be proud of our achievements, recognise our growth and inspire the people around us. This year it is your challenge to leave your team in a better place than when it started... leave a legacy.

'Try-out Week'

We will begin the year with a Try-out week from Monday 26-Friday 30th August. This gives us the opportunity to see how many students would like to take part in our Sport Programme. Therefore, if your child would like to play sport at either competitive or recreational level, it is important they join us so we can meet all the players and make the arrangements needed.

The sign up is open from now until 5 pm on Wednesday 21st August and all information can be found here

Whole School ECA, Sport & Swim Sign-ups

Following 'Try-out week' you will need to sign up your child via Moodle to join our full programme as part of the whole school ECA sign up. The ECA sign up will take place from 10 am on Saturday 31st August - 5 pm on Tuesday 3rd September and will give you the opportunity to see everything on offer in one sign up process.

Sessions will begin on Monday 9th September - Full information on our whole school ECA program will follow later next week.

Keep in touch

Please stay up-to-date by joining our STA Flames & Marlins Facebook group for parents and students who are part of our Sport Programme.

As it’s a closed group not open to the general public, please complete the questions so that we know if you’re part of our STA community.

Parents may post to this group and it’s been great to see some of your photos of our kids in action!
