Primary School Music: FOBISIA Auditions

Working hard over the summer break, Primary School musicians showcased their growth in music at the FOBISIA auditions.

FOBISIA Auditions

This week we were treated to some great high level performances from our St Andrews International School Bangkok primary musicians. The children had clearly been working hard over the holidays and showed such tremendous progress that Mrs. Alice and Mrs. Marie were just amazed! We will be in touch with parents shortly to let them know how their children got on, but we would like to say congratulations to everyone who took part.

Year 6 Pop Music

Year 6 have begun to get to grips with their new pop music project by learning a cup and chopsticks routine to a golden oldie - Turn the Beat Around by Gloria Estefan. They performed with the beat, the rhythm and also double timed a section in the chorus. A fun introduction to the topic. Well done to Anaiya, Dylan, Delphine, Sarah, Raya, Chloe, Aya, Sameera and Shaniya for giving up some break time to rehearse ready for a performance in assembly on Friday. You can watch their performance here:
