This time, we want YOU to help set the PTG Meeting Agenda. Please send us topics you would like to see discussed so that we can create an agenda that is relevant to you. Send your topics by 4 September 2019 to email@example.com.
Do you want to get involved in International Day? Please stay for the first coordination meeting right after the PTG Meeting! If you’re new to the school, International Day is a highlight of the school year that wouldn’t be complete without the food hall for students and teachers. Featuring specialities from more than 20 countries, the food hall on both campuses is organized by the PTG, with the support of the school’s Estates team. International Day is a great cooperative effort on the part of the participating parents and it absolutely would not be possible without you.
International Day takes place at High School on Fri 11 Oct and at Primary School on Fri 18 Oct 2019.
Sign-ups are open for the Parent Activities! This is a great way to meet other like-minded St Andrews parents while practising sport, art, or Thai conversation for beginners. We are proud of our great St Andrews community and these PTG-organized activities help it go from strength to strength.
This year we are offering Zumba, Thai Conversation, BollyFit, Yoga, Badminton, Tennis, Swimming, High-Intensity Interval Training, Volleyball, Smiling Runners and Swimming. For Term 1, we have introduced new classes such as Art Workshop, Street Jazz, Netball and Hormone Yoga Therapy.
For sign up and more information on all the activities planned in Term 1, you can visit Moodle here. Sign up is open till 7 September. Activities run for 10 weeks from the week beginning Monday 9th September until Friday 29th November.
Free Trial Classes are offered to new parents who have never been registered with the class before:
Yoga by Tan on Wednesday, 4th Sept. 8:30 – 9:30 am at HS Exam Room
Zumba on Thursday, 5th Sept. 8:00 – 9:00 at PS Fitness Studio
Bollyfit on Friday, 6th Sept. 8:00 – 9:00 am at HS Yoga Studio
Click here to register for a free trial class.
Some activities require a minimum attendance so bring along your friends to make sure the class will happen! Some activities may have a maximum number of participants so we kindly ask you to register quickly and unsubscribe should you change your mind to free a spot for those on the waiting list.
We always welcome parents to help set up various activities. In such cases, the PTG will help you promote your class among all parents and find a suitable space to practice. Get in touch with Vilai, the PTG’s Parent Activities Coordinator, if you have any questions or ideas about activities to introduce, by sending an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org.
