Key Stage 2: Scrumptious Smoothies!

What did our Year 5’s put in their delicious and healthy smoothies? Find out what is happening for Anti-Bullying week. And don’t worry! The STA Farmers’ Market will be back this Friday with more fresh products and smoothies.

Scrumptious Smoothies!

As part of their ‘Keeping Healthy’ topic, Year 5 enjoyed making delicious smoothies last week. Before the lesson, the children researched about different types of smoothies and the health benefits of drinking them. They then designed and made their own healthy smoothies, putting a lot of thought into how they were going to present it to the rest of the class. The Year 5 teachers were very impressed with the teamwork and effort put into making the smoothies. Thanks to the Year 5 parents for their help with the ingredients and decorations.

Anti-Bullying Week @ STA

Anti-Bullying Week got off to a great start with our non-uniform day at the Primary campus. It was a colourful start to the day as everyone did their part to raise awareness of the importance of anti-bullying by wearing bright clothes and odd socks. T=With the money raised, the School Council is hoping to purchase a range of equipment to encourage joining-in and group play for this. Foundation Stage will be raising money to purchase a ‘Friendship Bench’ for their area.

Find out what else will be happening during Anti-Bullying Week here: Anti-Bullying Week Info Slides
