High School: Christmas is coming!

This Friday we have the Key Stage 3 Neon Light Disco Night. Get your tickets for next week’s drama performances The Night Before Christmas before they sell-out. And here are the details on when and where your socially distanced Christmas Concerts and Fairs are scheduled in for.

Just a quick reminder that due to the dates that national holidays have fallen so far this year, we have some changes to the timetable this week. Please note that students are asked to wear their House shirt on Friday only.

On Friday this week, we also have the Key Stage 3 Neon Lights Disco Night.

Disco Night

Tickets are on sale to Key Stage 3 students (Years 7-9) in the Atrium during Break and Lunch. As with the Halloween Carnival earlier this term, this event is being organised by a group of Year 12 students, with any profits from the event being donated to World Vision.

Next week we look forward both to this year’s Christmas Production - The Night Before Christmas - and our annual Christmas Fair and Concert - this year with a Christmas Fair that lasts all day and three separate Concerts to allow for a both a physically-distanced audience and Fair.

Tickets for the two performances of The Night Before Christmas are available from the Accounts window in the High School Office. While the 3:30pm performance is almost sold out, there are still seats available for the 5:00pm performance.

Thank you to all those parents, both of students in Years 7-9 and of those students in Years 10-13 who will be performing in each of these concerts, who have already registered for the Christmas Concerts. If you have not yet registered please do so, using the link in my email last Tuesday, before midday on Friday this week, so that we can confirm the venue of the concerts.

As I wrote last week, each concert will also be both live-streamed and available for later viewing for those parents who are unable to attend.

As you can see from the poster above, each group of parents will also get time to visit the Christmas Fair, with parents not attending the Concerts also able to visit the Fair in the afternoon. I encourage you to have a look through the vendor list who will be here for the Fair. I look forward to seeing you all at the Christmas Fair and Concerts.

Please remember that all the school's Google Calendars can be seen via Moodle:
