In Science we have also been investigating electrical circuits. The children have had an exciting time making circuits, with switches, buzzers and motors. They even made their own types of switches out of split pins, cardboard and paper clips. Children enjoyed testing their switches and using their Be Ambitious skills; Thinking in Different Ways and Self-Regulation.
In English we have been writing a Biography of Thomas Edison. This piece of writing followed the Writing Process of Brainstorming, Researching, Note-Taking, Drafting, Editing and Publishing. Here is a wonderful example from Kaila Yilmaz:
