Next Monday 28th January we have our first Juilliard alumni visitor of the year. Andrew Robert Munn is a bass singer who completed his graduate studies at The Juilliard School in May 2018 and is now based in Berlin.

He has debuted with Opera Theatre of Saint Louis as Doctor Grenvil in Verdi's La Traviata, Specialist Swanson in the world premiere of Huang Ruo's An American Soldier, and starred as Seneca in Berlin OperFest’s production of Monteverdi’s L’Incoronazione di Poppea. As a featured soloist and librettist, he has performed Mozart’s Requiem under the baton of Ádám Fischer, Haydn’s Die Schöpfung with the American Symphony Orchestra under Leon Botstein, Handel’s Messiah with Mr Botstein’s The Orchestra Now, Rossini’s Stabat Mater with The Orchestra of the Triangle, and Jesus in Bach’s Johannes Passion with Cathedral of All Saints and Handel and Haydn Society to name a few.

During the day he will be working with a range of students, offering both a Primary school assembly performance, a vocal masterclass with some of our KS4/5 students, work with both the BISB Primary Choir, Senior Vocal Group and our male leads from Little Shop of Horrors and even squeezing in a session with the Community Choir.
